Both New Zealand and South Africa dismissed Scotland with ease. South Africa’s demolition of the Scots was especially impressive as batsman after batsman showed their ruthless power hitting capabilities. New Zealand may have been a little under pressure after the Scots managed to pile up a very healthy 89 off the allotted 7 overs, but their batsmen made mincemeat of the score and chased the daunting target with ease.
The players to watch out for are Brendon Mc Cullum and Jesse Ryder for the Kiwis and Gibbs, Kallis and Morkel for the South Africans. A run spree can be expected with a solid batting line-up with both the teams. The bookie’s favourite is South Africa, but anyone who rules out New Zealand is obviously naive.
