India convincingly won the 2nd One Day Inernational at Gwalior to take an unassailable 2-0 lead and win the 3 match India vs South Africa ODI Series. Powered by a first ever double hundred from Sachin Tendulkar, India amassed a huge score of 401 runs and crush the Proteas by over 150 runs. Tomorrow’s is a dead rubbber, but South Africa would be really keen to avoid a 3-0 whitewash.

India having already won the series and with an eye on next year’s ODI World Cup may now want to experiment and give the chance to a couple of youngsters in the 3rd ODI tomorrow at Ahmedabad. Praveen Kumar or Nehra might be rested to give Sudeep Tyagi a chance. We might see other new faces tomorrow as well. Now this may well give the visitors a chance to sneak in with a win and avoid a 3-0 humiliation.

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

The 2nd ODI between India and South Africa will be played in Gwalior on February 24th. You can watch the match live on NEO TV or on India’s TV Channel, Doordarshan. You can watch the match live starting at 1400 hrs India Standard Time.

After winning the 1st ODI in Jaipur by only 1 run, India will be eyeing to lift the 3 match series through a win here in Gwalior. However, we are still unsure how the Indian bowlers will tackle the South African batsmen. Poor quality bowling by Indian pacers almost gave away the last ODI match to South Africa. Virender Sehwag is also doubtful for the 2nd ODI in Gwalior.

South Africa on the other side will give their best to square the series. After watching Steyn and Parnell, South Africa batsmen will definitely target the Indian fast bowlers.

NEO TV will start the live telecast of the 2nd ODI at 1400 hrs and we will update you on the latest from Gwalior. For Live Streaming, you can log onto the Indian Cricket Board’s website. It is illegal to show live streaming of cricket matches and hence we do not show live stream of any cricket match.
