Chris Gayle has opted out of this dead-rubber as the result of this match will not have any affect on the bearings of the World Cup. Dinanath Ramdine will instead lead the West Indies team in this match which may not be technically important, but it is imperative that the winning flow is continued and both teams will be striving hard on that count. Sri Lanka has fielded a full-fledged eleven.

West Indies, even without Gayle, is a strong side and the way they annihilated the Aussies was a treat to watch. Gayle’s opening partner Fletcher too shone in the match. Let’s see if he can repeat the performance against the Lankans.

For Lanka, Murali going for a few runs in the last match was a worry but Mendis bowled beautifully bamboozling batsmen after batsmen. I am sure Murali will be hungry to make a strong impact today. Watch the Live Streaming of this match from 6:00 pm India Time to find out how things unravel at Nottingham.

Once again the scene returns to the mecca of cricket. Though the match is a dead rubber as such with no affect on the cup proceedings, the two teams will be keen to maintain their winning spree. Both New Zealand and South Africa dismissed Scotland with ease. South Africa’s demolition of the Scots was especially impressive as batsman after batsman showed their ruthless power hitting capabilities. New Zealand may have been a little under pressure after the Scots managed to pile up a very healthy 89 off the allotted 7 overs, but their batsmen made mincemeat of the score and chased the daunting target with ease.

The players to watch out for are Brendon Mc Cullum and Jesse Ryder for the Kiwis and Gibbs, Kallis and Morkel for the South Africans. A run spree can be expected with a solid batting line-up with both the teams. The bookie’s favourite is South Africa, but anyone who rules out New Zealand is obviously naive.

Twenty20 World Cup Live Streaming | Pakistan vs Netherlands

ICC World Twenty20 | Match: Pakistan vs Netherlands | Date: 9th June 2009 | Watch the Live Telecast of the match on star cricket from 6:00 pm India Time | For Live Cricket Streaming of the match refer to the official website of the ICC. Pakistan is batting first in this do-or-die match for them where they not just have to beat Netherlands but also need to beat them by a sufficient margin so that they overtake the dutch on the Net Run Rate count. Remember that the Dutch beat England in the first match, and Pakistan lost their match to England.

Pakistan is fast moving towards a 180+ score and if they can do that, that should put them in a good position. However, for them winning is not sufficient, and it is imperative that their opening bowlers strike early so that the Netherlands innings never really gets off.

Watch the Live Streaming of the match to find out if the Netherlands can sneak in into the next round of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup, or will it be Pakistan!
