The Hyderabad match was a heart-breaker. It was a masterly innings from the Little Master – that India fell short of the Aussie target in spite of the fact that Tendulkar single-handedly scored 175 of the required 350 runs doesn’t speak highly of the efforts of the rest of the Indian batsmen. Now Australia are up 3-2 with two matches to go. So India need to win both the matches to win a series which should have been an easy win for them considering that they are playing at home and the number of injuries that the visitors have suffered.

Now the action shifts from Guwahati – the cricketers are being made to clock some serious air miles. Whoever is designing the schedule of the series is obviously a poor student of geography. However the Indians will have to put those factors behind and ensure that they aren’t embarassed at Guwahati.
