If there is one team which will not take any minnow in its group lightly, it is India. And especially so when that team is Bangladesh which sent India packing out of the limited overs World Cup in the West Indies. With the Netherlands upsetting England in the very first match of the tournament, Dhoni and his men would be only extra careful. For one, Bangladesh is a test side with more quality and talent than the dutch and T20 cricket is such that if just Mohammad Ashraful and Shakib-al-hassan do it for Bangladesh, that might just be enough.

Defending T20 World Champions India have entered this time as clear favourites with a team studded with T20 stars and with the vital practise provided by the IPL, the players are in fine nick and would be raring to repeat the magic of South Africa 2007. I think on current form Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma might turn out to be the key batsmen for India, and if Gautam Gambhir can reproduce that form of the last cup India won’t have much batting woes. And we have not even talked about Yusuf Pathan and Sehwag yet. In bowling, how Harbhajan Singh performs might hold the key, and if he can do it well, that might give India the edge in bowling.

I have high regard for Shakib-al-Hassan and he is the man India need to be careful of, besides Ashraful. Any kind of complacency can be very dangerous as anything is possible in T20 matches, and matche can swing at any point during the game.

Here’s wishing Team India good luck and hope they get off to a brilliant start tomorrow. Watch the live streaming of the match tomorrow to see if Dhoni’s men can show why the Indians are a force to reckon with in this form of cricket.
